Although I’m the son of two attorneys, my younger self wasn’t exactly the bookish type. I liked coloring, playing pretend with toys, and daydreaming about the future.

In high school, I took a graphic design class with my friend. At first, I just liked fooling around with Photoshop, but then I realized it was the perfect medium to express my ideas. Fortunately, my parents didn’t force law school on me, so off to design school I went.

At FIT, I studied Advertising & Digital Design and tapped into my inner child for help. Coloring became color theory, making up problems between my dolls became identifying real world consumer problems, and daydreaming became brainstorming creative solutions.

Now, I have a BFA, two Young Ones awards, and a job that my parents are proud of, but don’t quite understand.

I'm always excited to hear of opportunities to add new skills to my metaphorical design tool belt, tackle new challenges, and collaborate with teams who value diversity, empathy, and creativity. I believe it's a win-win when I can use my ideas and design skills to help others.

Outside of work, I like to play tennis, listen to pop divas, and play The Sims… three more things I’ve liked since I was younger. I guess kid Seamus is still calling the shots.
